RYAN - Warehouse Supervisor

Ryan is the person responsible for coordinating deliveries of stock to Acura customers on site. He ensures that the five delivery runs depart the warehouse on time and that deliveries are made to customers within two hours of leaving the warehouse. This is an important role in the Acura business as customers rely on them to have the products on site and ready to use exactly when they need them. There is no time for standing around waiting.

Passion is something that Ryan shares with Sir Richard. Ryan is one of the many team members that play a key role in delivering great customer experiences for Acura clients.

The Acura Group team understand how important it is to keep things moving on site. Issues with mounting, hanging and restraining mechanical services can result in project delays and cost overruns. With a focus on time saving solutions for support systems, Acura Group has dedicated stock on hand that can be speedily delivered to the customer site to help keep projects on schedule and budget.

Acura opened an impressive new warehouse and head office at Tonsley just short of 18 months ago, moving from much smaller premises in Richmond in Adelaide’s inner western suburbs. Ryan was given the task of managing the project to transfer stock and operations from the old warehouse to the new facility. This was a big project which Ryan often lists as his most challenging and rewarding project in many years.

“It was also a really important project”, he says. “This move allowed us to expand our stock holdings to deliver the level of customer support and service that sets the Acura Group team apart from the rest.”

Perhaps Ryan’s customer service focus was instilled in him while he was working in his first customer service job: as a customer service representative at Movie Warehouse – the largest video hire company of its type in South Australia at the time.
