Sprawling across 104,000sqm with the capacity to house 23,000 separate product lines, the new distribution centre in Edinburgh North provides a fantastic boost to the local economy.

The privately funded centre supports forecasted growth of the area; welcome news for the community following the closure of Holden.

The city of Playford forecasts an increase of 35,000 residents by 2036, as part of councils “Next Great City“ strategy to transform the area from manufacturing heartland into a cultural, entertainment and sporting destination.

Like Drakes, Acura is a local and family owned business with core values of putting people first, continual growth and providing exceptional customer service.

Acura so far has supplied a 300m long cable tray run supporting electrics, and a hanging light solution for 600 lights throughout.

The Distribution Centre joins a long list of projects revitalising the Northern community, including;

·        6 storey $50 million Playford Hotel.

·        $1 million Adelaide Training Base.

·        $80 million expansion of the area surrounding the Lyell McEwin Hospital, transforming the precinct into a high tech smart health hub.
