What’s happening at Port Adelaide?

We hear a lot about CBD developments, but travel 14km down Port Road and you are met with a historic maritime precinct in the process of being transformed into a thriving residential, commercial and tourist destination.

The most significant retail development in the area in over 40 years leads the charge - with the Port Adelaide Plaza expanding by 50% from 19,000sqm to 29,394sqm. Stage1 is expected to be delivered mid 2019.

Large projects require large quantities of materials. The Sanitary Plumbing and Mechanical HVAC contractors have taken advantage of our 5 delivery runs per day and high stock levels, with Acura fulfilling over 90 deliveries to site since late 2018.

“We know if we order it, and we order big quantities of stuff, Acura have got it in stock and that’s a big plus for us.“
Construction Manager, Plumbing Contractor

With 120 construction jobs and 160 ongoing retail jobs created, the plaza presents a significant economic benefit to the local area and underpins other commercial and residential developments.

What else is happening?
