The unmistakable facade is ‘making waves’ along the riverbank precinct, as the $330 million Adelaide Casino Redevelopment topped out in September 2019.
Acura has been supplying the plumbing, fire protection, electrical and HVAC industries throughout the build. It’s an impressive drive along North Terrace, and with 5 delivery runs per day we ensure we get stock to site when needed.
On a recent site visit with contractors, Account Manager James Warner said,
“The precinct is fast becoming the centrepiece of our City, and we are proud to have such a strong partnership with the trades on such a major project for Adelaide.”
Interestingly, SkyCity Entertainment Group exited the Darwin market, selling the casino in late 2018 and making Adelaide Casino the only one in the group in Australia.
To celebrate the redevelopment, the casino will receive a new name; going from “Adelaide Casino“ to “SkyCity Adelaide.“
Across the bridge, the boutique Adelaide Oval Hotel has also been confirmed. It will be built on two elevated pods following the curve of the external wall on the eastern facade of stadium.
New CBD hotels will contribute to the estimated additional 4000 new hotel rooms built in Adelaide in the next 5 years.
21 luxury hotel developments are either confirmed or on the cards, including SkyCity‘s 123 room luxury hotel, Adelaide Oval with 138 rooms, Sofitel 257 room hotel, Adelaidean at 326 rooms and Hyatt Regency  with 295 rooms.
The sky-scape of the Adelaide CBD is rapidly changing and we are proud to be contributing with reliable, compliant materials - keeping things moving onsite.
